Bartholomew '' Barry '' Henry Allen (born 1989), is a young man who works for the Scientific Police (CSI) at the CCPD. Barry is the son of Henry Allen and Nora Allen, the adopted son and then son-in-law of Joe West, the adopted brother of Wally West and the husband of Iris West whom he has known since he was young. After the explosion of the S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry was struck by lightning and plunged into a coma for 9 months. When he awoke, he found that he had developed superhuman speed and other various abilities. Using his powers, he began to act as a superhero known as the Red Lightning. Later, the audience will recognize him as The Flash
